Do you know a golf club manager or secretary that deserves to win a holiday to Spain?
Manager of the Year is an annual competition run by the UK’s Golf Club Managers’ Association. It rewards and recognises managers and secretaries of golf clubs for outstanding work they have done in recent times.
The prize includes a trip for two to Rioja in Spain, including visits to vineyards and golf.
The winner of the 2010/11 competition, Peter Johns, from Eaton Golf Club, won after he brought in significant financial growth, largely due to an improved bar and restaurant offering, club website and marketing operation, to his club during a recession.
After the nominations are in, a panel of experts will whittle them down to a final six, and will visit them at their golf clubs.
Nominees must be a member of the Golf Club Managers’ Association.
